Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on machine learning models using advanced statistical analysis
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical considerations throughout the AI development lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on responsible AI principles
- Research emerging regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and translate requirements into actionable policies
- Author technical documentation and ethical impact assessments for high-stakes AI systems
- Mentor junior engineers on ethical AI development practices and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years of AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT) frameworks for machine learning
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI guidelines in production environments
- Strong background in regulatory compliance for AI systems (GDPR, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex ethical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with bias mitigation techniques and adversarial testing for AI models
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible AI domains preferred
