Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits using fairness metrics (Demographic Parity, Equal Opportunity)
- Develop stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI decision-making
- Create impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments in healthcare and finance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed ethical considerations in AI development sprints
- Monitor emerging AI ethics legislation and advise on compliance strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, algorithmic auditing, or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques (e.g., adversarial debiasing, reweighting)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python for bias analysis tools (AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Experience with stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Publication record in AI ethics or relevant conference presentations
