Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum-inspired ML algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects spanning quantum computing and deep learning
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Translate theoretical models into production-ready solutions with 99.9% reliability
- mentor junior researchers and drive technical excellence across the organization
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research funding through compelling proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 3+ years post-doc experience
- Expertise in quantum machine learning, transformer architectures, and Bayesian optimization
- Proven track record of publishing 10+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier venues
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum computing frameworks
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Strong background in distributed computing and high-performance data pipelines
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with demonstrable impact on real-world systems
