Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum-encrypted machine learning models
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier AI/ML conferences
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into market-ready solutions
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through NIH/NSF partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and coordinate university research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 3+ years of post-doctoral research
- Proven track record of publishing in NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR conferences
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and federated systems
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Experience securing federal research grants (SBIR/STTR preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2+ commercialized AI research applications
- Strong background in ethics and bias mitigation for autonomous systems
