- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier AI/quantum journals
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams of engineers and domain specialists
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through compelling proposals
- Drive commercialization of research through IP development and startup incubation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (top 20 university)
- 5+ years in applied AI research with 3+ publications at NeurIPS/ICML
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and high-performance computing
- Experience with cloud-native AI deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proven ability to secure federal research grants (NSF/NIH/DARPA)
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ years of technology foresight
