Job Overview:
As a CDL A Driver for Prime Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across assigned routes. You will represent our company with a professional image and ensure customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and legally compliant manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks (equipment provided).
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation according to DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
