Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers to deliver freight safely and efficiently across the designated routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to all weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT 3070) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
