Responsibilities
- Extract & Transform Data: Gather, clean, and prepare large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI to monitor business performance and trends in real-time.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders, translating technical findings into business-friendly language.
- Process Optimization: Identify gaps in existing data workflows and propose automated solutions to increase efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing and operations teams to define data requirements and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (querying, stored procedures) and experience with Python or R.
- Visualization: Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Work Style: Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
