Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for business improvement.
- SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract specific data points and automate reporting workflows.
- Report Generation: Produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports that translate technical findings into actionable business insights for leadership.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to define data requirements and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python, and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Visualization Tools: Strong experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and think critically to solve complex business problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
