Responsibilities
- Define and execute the comprehensive technical roadmap for Nexus Horizon, specifically targeting breakthrough capabilities for the 2026 release cycle.
- Lead the research and development of emerging technologies, including generative AI, edge computing, and autonomous systems.
- Collaborate with product management to translate high-level 2026 vision into actionable technical specifications.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in the evolving tech landscape and advise executive leadership.
- Oversee the evaluation and integration of third-party APIs and proprietary tech stacks.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architectural role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application in business strategy.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scalable system design.
