Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe the spoken word into written text with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting to ensure client satisfaction.
- Follow specific style guides and industry-specific terminology provided during training.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas within strict deadlines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and audio files.
- Use transcription software and tools effectively to maximize productivity.
- Communicate effectively with the team lead regarding technical issues or difficult audio files.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have access to a high-speed internet connection and a reliable computer.
- Basic computer proficiency (typing, MS Word, email).
- Excellent listening skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and complete training modules.
