Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment safety.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Document all trips, hours, and any incidents accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment or commercial trucks.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with GPS and modern fleet management software.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
