Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and set up remote workstations and software environments to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to internal staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues via remote access tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize remote workflows and improve IT infrastructure.
- Perform regular security audits and ensure data privacy compliance for all remote devices.
- Manage inventory of remote equipment, including tracking repairs, upgrades, and disposals.
- Document technical procedures and create user guides for remote staff.
- Respond to help desk tickets and email inquiries with a focus on high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, plus proficiency in remote access software (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
- Valid driverβs license for potential equipment pickup logistics.
