- Client-Specific Guidelines: Follow various style guides and formatting rules specific to different clients and industries.
- Productivity Management: Manage your daily workflow to meet production quotas efficiently while maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve audio quality issues to ensure the best possible clarity in your transcripts.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Typing Speed: Proven typing speed of 60+ words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy.
- Linguistic Skills: Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and proper sentence structure.
- Home Office: Ability to work independently in a home office environment with a quiet space.
- Equipment: Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional transcription equipment (headphones/mic).
- Experience: Previous transcription experience is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
