- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Research and resolve unclear terminology using industry resources
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Utilize advanced transcription software and productivity tools
- Collaborate with editors to refine complex technical content
- Maintain strict confidentiality for sensitive information
Qualifications
- Minimum 80 words per minute typing speed with proven accuracy
- Proficiency in Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, or equivalent
- Associate's degree or relevant certification (preferred)
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with legal/medical terminology is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving and research capabilities
