Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text with high accuracy.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Adhere to specific client style guides and formatting requirements.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and turnaround time (TAT) targets.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding complex audio or unclear segments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience as a transcriptionist or strong aptitude for typing and listening.
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar and vocabulary.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 60 WPM).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software.
