Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-focused innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen user interfaces and immersive experiences
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with long-term business strategy
- Build and lead a high-impact innovation lab with cutting-edge resources
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships in emerging tech ecosystems
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for 2026+ technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership, with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching products with 2026+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strategic planning experience with 5-year horizon roadmaps
- Strong background in scaling innovation teams and managing $10M+ budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) a plus
