Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies in AI, quantum computing, and renewable energy
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype 2026-viable innovations
- Analyze global market trends, regulatory landscapes, and disruption vectors for future-proofing business models
- Present visionary blueprints to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including government agencies
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and adoption readiness for 2026 market entry
- Curate partnerships with academic institutions and startups to accelerate future ecosystem development
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive technologies and their societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services with 5+ year vision cycles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their convergence
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives launched in the past 5 years
- Ability to obtain Tier 5 US government clearance for future-sensitive projects
