Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization targets
- Architect scalable solutions integrating AI, IoT, and blockchain frameworks
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Secure and manage innovation grants from federal and private sources
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching products with $10M+ ARR
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
- Strong patent portfolio (3+ issued patents)
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants or similar funding
