Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing and synthetic biology integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping AR interfaces for industrial metaverse applications
- Establish AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and ethical data usage
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Manage $15M+ annual R&D budget allocation across emerging tech verticals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 scale
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers on future tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics preferred
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology forecasting methodologies
