Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging tech solutions (quantum computing, AI ethics, immersive metaverse)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and investors on future tech implications
- Drive innovation through corporate partnerships with leading research institutions
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental thinking
- Secure patents and publish whitepapers on future tech applications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $10M+ impact
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- PhD or Master's in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, conferences)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, Blue Ocean Strategy)
