- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive R&D investments and resource allocation for breakthrough projects
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in futures planning
- Proven track record in launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Executive communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
