Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Partner with VPs of Product to integrate future tech into commercial roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Author white papers on future tech implications for industry verticals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-ups
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech)
- Track record of launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CSO Insights, WFS) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
