Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ tech strategy roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI ethics, quantum adoption, and sustainable tech implementation
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-focused insights into quarterly business planning
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future scenarios and mitigation strategies to the board of directors
- Oversee the development of a 'Future Tech Innovation Lab' for prototyping 2026 solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year tech transformation strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their business implications
- Certified in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or equivalent future-planning methodology
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership on technology trends or future studies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
