Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead ideation sessions for futuristic products/services aligned with 2026 market projections
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate cutting-edge solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation impact and ROI on future-focused initiatives
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with quarterly reporting requirements
- Build and mentor a cross-functional team of futurists and technical specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Expertise in AI, blockchain, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 50+ members
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic tech implementations with measurable impact
