Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with global market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and futurist workshops
- Manage R&D budget allocation for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with published research in future tech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
