Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 innovation horizons
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and climate-tech AI
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI deployment
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage innovation budgets exceeding $5M for experimental R&D projects
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-proof technology adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record leading quantum computing or AI ethics initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Published research or patents in at least one future technology domain
- Experience with sustainable tech lifecycle analysis and circular economy principles
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
