- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough concepts with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed scenarios
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible technology implementation in future contexts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with focus on emerging tech
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech domains
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (2018-2023)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research on technological disruption or exponential trends
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex tech concepts into business strategy
