Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning R&D investments with market opportunities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, IoT) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Develop patent-pending solutions in sustainable tech and human-AI collaboration
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and C-suite with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
- Drive culture of experimentation through rapid prototyping and failure-tolerant methodologies
- Monitor competitive landscape and anticipate disruptive threats/opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strategic consulting or executive experience in Fortune 500 tech companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio of executed innovation projects with measurable outcomes
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
