Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough products (AR/VR, quantum applications, synthetic biology)
- Conduct competitive analysis and emerging technology audits across 15+ innovation sectors
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and global tech accelerators
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovators in ethical technology development frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership (quantum, AI, or biotech focus preferred)
- Proven track record launching products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Strong network with DARPA, IEEE, or equivalent innovation bodies
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or Rust)
