Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-2030 technology roadmap
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, blockchain, neuromorphic computing) for commercial viability
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and disruption scenarios to C-suite executives
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and automation systems
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Represent Innovate Corp at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of commercializing disruptive technologies
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Certified in AI Ethics (IEEE or equivalent) and Agile methodologies
- Prior experience scaling tech teams from 20 to 200+ members
