Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market predictions
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for emerging tech sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage cross-functional innovation projects from concept to prototype
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, conferences, and industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business/MBA
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Published thought leadership in technology or business publications
