Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform technology adoption decisions
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI tracking
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of launching products using emerging technologies (3+ successful case studies)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains: quantum computing, AI/ML, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strong financial modeling skills with experience managing innovation budgets over $1M
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
