Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030, aligning with corporate vision and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology roadmaps and investment proposals to C-suite and board members
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts to ensure compliance and competitive advantage
- Mentor a team of 5-7 technology futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with $50M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience securing $10M+ in technology innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
