Responsibilities

- Identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor ecosystem for experimental tech
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI on R&D investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in quantum computing or AI ethics
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Strong network with academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Fluency in strategic planning tools like Miro and Tableau
