- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present future-tech vision to investors and board members
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on tech adoption
- Mentor junior innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging technologies
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech
