Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with commercial potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into company vision
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on ethical technology adoption
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Represent InnovateNext at global tech summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching at least two enterprise-scale tech innovations
- Deep expertise in at least three future-tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level experience with cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Technology, or equivalent tier
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and tech impact assessment frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility (DOD/DoE level preferred)
