Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web4.0) with 2026 market viability focus
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption timelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven risk/benefit analysis
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio including pilot programs and strategic partnerships with tech startups
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of future-focused initiatives
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on industry trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futures research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation management
- Proven track record of successfully launching technology initiatives with measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology forecasting
- C-level presence with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business domains
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, CES) preferred
