Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026 market potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry trends
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives from ideation to commercialization
- Build strategic partnerships with tech startups, VCs, and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and oversee pilot program execution
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready technologies through change management
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
