Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in healthcare, energy, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (e.g., quantum-secure blockchain networks)
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4, neurointerfaces, climate AI) to identify commercialization opportunities
- Forge strategic alliances with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology impact assessments to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Drive R&D initiatives in our Austin Innovation Lab with $2M+ annual budget
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Proven track record of scaling disruptive technologies to enterprise level
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or climate tech
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders on complex technical concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE journals or equivalent tier publications
- CISSP or CIPP certification preferred
