Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro interfaces) relevant to 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with 3-5 year strategic vision
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis for next-gen innovations
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into existing ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 deployments
- Build and nurture partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization (AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Deep understanding of tech convergence patterns and future forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (preferred)
