Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Partner with R&D teams to translate technical capabilities into market-ready innovations
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and identify first-mover advantages in future tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization
