Responsibilities
- Architect scalable solutions for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI neural networks, bio-integrated systems)
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and patent opportunities
- Design and validate prototypes for futuristic applications in healthcare, energy, and transportation
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
- Mentor junior innovators in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology architecture with 5+ years in emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum, AI, biotech, or nanotechnology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Fluency in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental R&D initiatives
- Certification in Technology Foresight or equivalent strategic planning
