Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints in AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon-scanning for disruptive technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and investor boards
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects
- Secure $10M+ annual innovation funding through compelling proposals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging tech (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and adoption frameworks
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or Harvard Business Review
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for moonshot projects
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or top 5 AI research institutions
