Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry projections

- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into core offerings
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the executive board
- Manage a $15M innovation budget and oversee vendor ecosystem development
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across all engineering divisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks and scenario planning
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across global R&D centers
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology Reviews
- Certification in Technology Strategy (e.g., CTS) or equivalent
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or similar innovation agencies
