Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-digital interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive threats and opportunities in global tech ecosystems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology strategy insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive innovation frameworks
- Author thought leadership content positioning company in post-2026 technology dialogues
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI governance, or climate-tech
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting tools
- Experience building innovation ecosystems across public-private partnerships
- Track record of scaling technologies from concept to market leadership
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
