Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, etc.)
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory shifts and ethical implications of future tech
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human-machine interfaces
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
