Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives with 15+ global engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and C-suite executives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
- Build strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and tech pioneers
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or senior R&D leadership role
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of scaling disruptive technologies to enterprise level
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
