Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields (quantum, biotech, AI, Web3) with $500K+ annual budgets
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic technologies into commercial offerings
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present visionary technology briefings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor innovation teams and establish technology governance frameworks
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their impact on business strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain, or biotech
- Executive-level experience in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Strong network with global tech innovation leaders
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
