Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, AR/VR 2.0) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive tech threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes impacting emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or related leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching tech-driven products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certifications in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
